Bee Sting
This is Bacon, the one year old poodle cross. Yes, he does need a haircut …. he’s booked in a few days.

Bacon was walking in the park and was suddenly holding up his right front leg. Little Bacon was rushed to PAH as we were just about to close.

After a long examination, Dr Jill detected something tiny sticking out from Bacon’s toe just under his nail.

Dr Jill used the magnify headset (which make her look a little foolish but are very useful), and was able to remove a 3 mm bee stinger. Amazing with all that fur!

Bacon was given an antihistamine injection and should be better in a few days.
