We were very pleased to welcome Dr Lisa Shaw to Pittwater Animal Hospital in 2018. Lisa is a local veterinarian who loves being a Vet and the sense of community it brings. She likes to make a difference to the pet and their owner’s quality of life.
Dr Lisa Shaw qualified from Bristol University in the UK in 1994, and has spent most of her post graduate years in small animal practice. She has been on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for the past 12 years.
Currently Lisa splits her working time between Pittwater Animal Hospital and NEVS, where she is an emergency and critical care Vet. Dr Lisa has a particular interest in Emergency and critical care, Veterinary dentistry, oral and facial surgery, Dermatology, Customer care and Practice management.
At home Lisa has 2 boys (who are keen musicians), a collection of chickens and is an “Aunty” for a number of local beaches dogs, when their families are on holidays. Lisa enjoys the outdoor, northern beaches lifestyle, and likes to be outside whenever she can. (Not surprising coming from England.)
Amazingly, Lisa also has an interest in Youth leadership. She is a Sea Scout Leader plus a Supervisor for the fabulous Sydney Children’s Choir ensembles. Lisa recently graduated as a qualified Yoga teacher, and has an interest in injury rehabilitation, back pain and yoga for youths.
We look forward to Dr Lisa Shaw getting to know you and your pets very soon at Pittwater Animal Hospital.
