Dr Lisa Shaw has been a consulting veterinarian at Pittwater Animal Hospital since 2018. Lisa is one of our highly qualified NEVS veterinarians, where she is involved in emergency and critical care but she also cares for your pets at Pittwater Animal Hospital.
Lisa is a local veterinarian who loves being a Vet and the sense of community it brings. She likes to make a difference to the pet and their owner’s quality of life.
Dr Lisa Shaw qualified from Bristol University in the UK in 1994, and has spent most of her post graduate years in small animal practice. She has been on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for over 10 years.
Dr Lisa has a particular interest in Emergency and critical care, Veterinary dentistry, oral and facial surgery, Dermatology, Customer care and Practice management.
At home Lisa has 2 boys (who are keen musicians), a collection of chickens and is an “Aunty” for a number of local beaches dogs, when their families are on holidays. Lisa enjoys the outdoor, northern beaches lifestyle, and likes to be outside whenever she can. (Not surprising coming from England.)
Amazingly, Lisa also has an interest in Youth leadership. She is a Sea Scout Leader plus a Supervisor for the fabulous Sydney Children’s Choir ensembles. Lisa recently graduated as a qualified Yoga teacher, and has an interest in injury rehabilitation, back pain and yoga for youths.
We are very pleased to announce Dr Lisa Shaw will be consulting more regularly at Pittwater Animal Hospital in 2021.
