Cats need an F3 Vaccination every year to maintain their immunity against the herpes and calici viruses as well as feline enteritis. Unfortunately, if your cat’s vaccination has lapsed, in order to get the best immunity and cover, we will need to start a new course of vaccinations.
As an incentive to get your cat’s protection up to date, we have arranged a special offer which lasts until April 30, 2018. We are offering a complete new course of two visits and two vaccinations for $99.40, which is normally the cost of a single booster vaccination. This is a saving of $99.40 on the normal price.
Vaccinations include a full physical examination of your cat and are a great time to discuss any health concerns. Having your cat examined and discussed once a year is equivalent to us seeing the doctor every five years – it is a really valuable thing to do.
Please ask about our comprehensive blood tests as part of your cats full health screen.
Due to recent outbreaks of Feline Enteritis, we are encouraging all our clients with cats to be vigilant about keeping their vaccinations current. We have also been treating many of the stray cats coming into Pittwater Animal Hospital for Cat Flu (herpes and calici virus). This is a life-long debilitating disease which is very common on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and can be easily prevented with regular vaccinations.
If you wish to drop your cat for the day you could fill out the vaccination while boarding form.
