Ziggy Stardust was upset
Meet Ziggy Stardust—he’s got quite the tale! One Saturday night, Ziggy came inside screaming and retching nonstop. The noise went on for hours. The next day, he seemed a bit better but still not quite right.
Later that week, Ziggy visited Dr. Jill. We noticed he was swallowing a lot, and something seemed off. Dr. Jill, having seen this before, insisted on examining Ziggy under anaesthetic, even though nothing was visible in his mouth.
Once Ziggy was anaesthetised, we carefully checked his throat. We spotted a little flash of green—it was a 10cm blade of grass! One end was down his oesophagus and the other up the back of his nose. Imagine how uncomfortable that must have been!
We carefully removed the grass, making sure not to leave any behind. Ziggy woke up much happier—what a fantastic result!
