Our Team of Nurses
Our veterinary nursing team is dedicated to the care and wellbeing of the pets entrusted to Pittwater Animal Hospital. Caring, gentle and highly skilled, our nurses work hard to ensure every patient receives excellent treatment, monitoring and individual attention.
Our nursing team is led by Abbi, our Head Veterinary Nurse, who originally trained at PAH before gaining extensive experience in emergency and critical care at NEVS. Abbi brings a mature, practical approach to hospital management and is an important member of our wider leadership team.
Working closely with senior nurses Genevieve and Cara, Abbi has helped create a caring, supportive and efficient environment for both our experienced nurses and those still developing their skills.
Our nurses routinely monitor complex anaesthetics, place intravenous catheters, administer treatments and care for hospitalised patients. We place great importance on gentle handling, ongoing training and excellent communication between nurses and veterinarians.
We are very proud of our nursing team and the commitment they bring to every patient.
