At Pittwater Animal Hospital, we are often asked about the dog food sausage we use as treats in Puppy School and in our consult rooms. This Australian-made product is called Prime100.

Prime100 dog rolls are highly palatable and can be fed as a complete and balanced diet, or used as a topper to encourage fussy eaters. Many of our patients use Prime100 as their sole diet, while others enjoy it as a nutritious treat.

Prime100 Rolls We Stock

We routinely stock 2kg Prime100 rolls, including:

  • Chicken & Vegetables

  • Kangaroo & Pumpkin

  • Crocodile & Tapioca

We can also order in the 2kg Salmon & Tapioca roll on request.

SPD Dry Treats & Tinned Options

We also stock SPD dry treats in:

  • Kangaroo

  • Lamb

  • Chicken

These are available in small treat packs, as well as 600g tins.

Feeding Guide

If feeding Prime100 as a complete diet, the general guide is:

  • 25–35 grams per kilogram of body weight per day

Our team is always happy to help you decide whether Prime100 is suitable for your pet and which variety best suits their needs.

Fresh sausages will last in the fridge for 3 days. We tend to cut up the sausages into bite sized chunks and freeze them in containers. From the freezer we place them into the fridge as needed to defrost slowly.
