When our pet’s are sick, or a major surgery has been recommended for your pet it is very common to seek a second opinion. This is where you present the problem and treatment plan to another veterinarian for review. Commonly the second vet agrees with the original vet but the review will give you great peace of mind.
At Pittwater Animal Hospital we are commonly asked for second opinions in various medical and surgical cases. Sometimes we know that our clients get a second opinion, (often with a different vet at Pittwater Animal Hospital but at other times with a neighbouring vet).
If you would like a second opinion on any health problem with your pet we recommend to
- Email us with all the details reception@pittvets.au
- Include what your are concerned about
- What symptoms your pet has had
- What treatments your pet has had
- Further treatments that have been recommended
With this information we can decide which of our veterinarians would be best to help with your problem. We all have different key interests.
Or if you have been recommended a particular vet simply
