Baby Ringtail Possums
This super cute pair of baby ringtail possums was found all alone at a nursing home in Narrabeen and brought to PAH. Our new vet Dr Tina trained in South Africa and is so impressed with Australian wildlife. Animals are much fiercer in Africa. (Dr Tina was once bitten by a lion cub.)
Dr Tina worked in England for eight years before coming to work at PAH. In England you will occasionally see a squirrel or a hedgehog but nothing as gorgeous as these guys.
These healthy baby ringtails weighed 70 grams each and were quickly handed on to WIRES for rehabilitation.
