Sarah Yelavic
Sarah Yelavic is the heart of Pittwater Animal Hospital. As our Practice Manager, she ensures everything runs smoothly — from the first client phone call to the follow-up after a pet’s visit.
Sarah joined PAH more than a decade ago, starting her career in the pet care industry before training as a veterinary nurse. Her hands-on nursing experience gives her a deep understanding of both the medical and personal aspects of veterinary care. In 2021, she stepped into the Practice Manager role, combining clinical knowledge, operational skills, and genuine compassion for pets and their owners.
Her work covers every part of the hospital’s operations: overseeing client services, supporting the veterinary and nursing teams, managing stock and equipment, organising reminders and communications, mentoring staff, and addressing complex client concerns with practical solutions. On any given day, she might be coordinating the hospital schedule, resolving an equipment issue, training a new team member, or assisting with patient care.
Sarah’s calm leadership, dedication, and ability to keep a clear head under pressure make her an essential part of our team.
