Blue Tongue Surgery

At Pittwater Animal Hospital we see a lot of local wildlife that we treat at no cost.

This juvenile blue tongue has a damaged foot.

Dr Juliet anaesthetizes little bluey and amputates his damaged foot.

Gaseous anaesthetics are very safe but can be a challenge to manages in a wriggly little lizard

Minutes later he is waking up. The little lizard will cope very well after the amputation.
