Romeo’s Sore Spot
Romeo is a little puppy who is looking very worried. He has a really sore spot on his head.
It is Tick Season so Dr Heidi knows what to look for.
Even though Romeo is up to date with tick control, it is possible to get a tick bite which can be very painful. With a little bit of searching the culprits are found.
These are little nymph ticks that are both dead when removed, but they have caused a painful spot. We are not concerned about Romeo getting tick paralysis but are adding a tick collar to try to keep the nasty nymph ticks away.
